Reres Market story starts as a young girl growing up in small town Iowa, named Andrea. I am affectionately known as “Rere” and grew up loving horses and at age 13 I finally got my first one! As a kid I joined the local saddle club and attended our local rodeo every summer. That is where I fell in love with barrel racing and all things Western. While I have never enjoyed the stardom and success as a barrel racer, that I dreamed of, it has always made an impression and serves as my muse.
Additionally, I have had the good fortune of meeting a lot of people over the years that enjoy and live the country way of life. Like any good country girl, I love the clothing, the home décor, the animals, the events, the people, and all that goes along with the country and western living image. It is a way of life that is familiar and very comfortable to me. It represents home, love, and all that is right in the world.
I’ve always have had an entrepreneurial spirit, which I’m pretty sure I got from my dad. If I am being honest, I am at the point in my life where I want to take the leap and start something new, before it is too late. Something that inspires me and gives me something to look forward to each day. In this search, I have found that I love designing. I have started Rere’s to showcase some of my favorite designs, and I hope you like them. I am fearful of failing at a new venture like this. However, not fearful enough to shy away from it any longer!
Reres Market It’s a Mindset
It is time to stop thinking, “What if…”, and start thinking, “Why not?!”
As I think of different things, I want to create I still worry will everyone like them? The answer to that is, no not everyone will like them but my hope is that some will. And so I forge forward, leaving my fears as far behind me as possible. We can do anything, after all!
I would absolutely be remiss if I didn’t mention one person that has helped me the most with my business and creative designs. They say that family isn’t necessarily blood, but the people you allow into your life. Lexi is an amazing support system and a creative genius that I aspire to be as good as. She is the type of friend that is so true, they are family. I will forever be grateful for your love and support. Thank you for helping me make Reres Market a reality.
This is a labor of love for me and a way to have something of my own that I can grow and be proud of. Graphic tees is where I am starting and hope to grow it into so much more! My hope is that anyone who wants to step out to try something new, whatever that may be, will not be afraid. Thank you for visiting my shop and supporting small business owners like me.
